    I wish to thank my son, Purple Heart Recipient CPL Robert McHugh, 1/5 Alpha, Nawa, Afghanistan, 2009, and all those Marine who came before him and those actively serving for having the conviction to enlist, the courage of a lion to fight and an unwaivering commitment to defend my freedom, despite knowing all the costs.
